1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Birth data: Name, date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth that you enter to generate your chart. This data is used only to perform astrological calculations.
• Account information: Email address and display name if you create an account via Firebase Authentication (Google sign-in or email).
• Payment information: Payment transactions are processed by Cashfree Payments (India) or Stripe (international). We do not store card numbers or payment credentials on our servers.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and language preferences, collected via Firebase Analytics.
• Device information: Browser type, operating system, and IP address for security and analytics purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To calculate and display your Vedic birth chart, compatibility report, and other astrology features.
• To process payments for premium PDF reports and AI astrologer credits.
• To improve our services based on aggregated usage analytics.
• To send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, if applicable).
• To respond to support requests.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your birth data and account information are stored in Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure), protected by Google's security standards. We use Firebase Realtime Database with authenticated access rules — only your own data is accessible to your account.

Chat history with the AI Astrologer is stored in Firebase under your authenticated user ID. You may delete your account and associated data by contacting us.

4. Third-Party Services

• Firebase / Google: Authentication, Realtime Database, and Analytics.
• Cashfree Payments: Payment processing for Indian users (INR). Subject to Cashfree Privacy Policy.
• Stripe: Payment processing for international users. Subject to Stripe Privacy Policy.
• Google Gemini AI: Powers the AI Astrologer and AI predictions. Your chart data is sent to Gemini's API to generate responses.

5. Cookies

We use browser localStorage and sessionStorage (not cookies) to store your language preference, currency preference, and session state. We do not use advertising cookies. If Google Tag Manager is enabled, it may set analytics cookies as per Google's privacy policies.

6. Your Rights

You may:

• Request a copy of data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Opt out of analytics by disabling JavaScript or using browser privacy extensions.
